              BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Decatur, Alabama that the attached Change Orders with Waters Brothers Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $5269.00 for additional sidewalks and in the amount of $1,627.66  for subgrade stabilization measures as part of the Decatur Cemetery Entrance Improvements Project are hereby approved making the new contract amount total $154,791.72; with the understanding that the City’s portion will be $72,780.33 to be paid from the Decatur Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund and the remaining portion to be reimbursed by the Baker Foundation; and

           BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Staff are authorized on behalf of the City to take the necessary steps to complete the payment of the revised contract.

 

              ADOPTED this 5th day of September, 2017.
